THE SKIN REJUVENATION PEEL
Safe for all skintypes, the Vitalize Peel® is a clinically
proven, effective and gentle formulation that smoothes and
corrects age spots, fine lines and wrinkles as well as acne. After just one peel you will notice improvement in your skin’s
texture and tone, lessening of fine lines and a healthier more
youthful appearance. Dramatic results can be achieved with a
series of peels.
Vitalize Peel
For best results, it is advisable to avoid sun
exposure and the following products and procedures at least one
week prior to your treatment:

- Depilatory creams
- Laser hair removal.
Use of the following
products should be avoided 2—3 days prior to your Vitalize
Peel®:

drying or irritating, including products containing salicylic
acid, AHAs (including glycolic acids) and products containing
Vitamin A or retinol. Shaving of the area to be peeled should be

approximately 20 minutes.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS Possible side effects may include mild redness, drying and/or
flaking of the skin, itching, swelling, burning, blistering,
skin discoloration and possible crusting of the skin. If
swelling, burning, blistering, discoloration, or crusting
occurs, contact your medical professional’s office for
assistance.
WHAT SHOULD I DO AFTER MY PEEL? You may be more sensitive to sun exposure.
Take precautions by
using Vivier Daily Moisturizing Shield SPF 30. We recommend
limiting sun exposure for at least one week after your peel.
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 2 to 3 days; perspiration may
irritate the skin.
- When washing your face do not scrub. Use a gentle cleanser such
as Vivier Foaming Cleanser.
- Avoid “helping” the skin to peel. You can control the peeling
with Vivier LEXXEL™ IDS™
Redness Relief Moisturizing Cream.
- Do not have any other facial treatment for at least one week
after your peel. You may resume the regular use of retinols, AHA
products, Vitamin C or bleaching creams only after the peeling
process is complete.
POST-PEEL INSTRUCTIONS
This procedure utilizes ingredients that may increase the skin’s
sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of
sunburn. The use of a sunscreen of at least SPF 30 and limited
sun exposure is recommended while using this product and for at
least a week afterwards.
The skin may look and feel like a mild windburn for the next two
or three days prior to peeling. After 48 hours a slight flaking
may occur which can easily be controlled with a moisturizer such
asVivier LEXXEL™ IDS™ Redness Relief Moisturizing Cream. For a
home care program, follow Vivier’s Redness Relief Program. Many
ingredients in foundations are greasy, fragranced and can be
irritating; therefore, foundations should not be worn after the
Vitalize Peels or during the days when the skin is actually
peeling. Avoid the sun, scrubs, AHAs, glycolic acid, Vitamin C or
retinal creams. Let the skin shed at its own rate to avoid
scarring or rashes; avoid pulling or peeling shedding skin.
After one week, the skin should look clearer and smoother and
the use of normal skin care products can resume. |
