Topical Muscle Relaxant
Vivier Pharma Inc. is pleased to introduce TMR, the newest injection-free anti-wrinkle product that relaxes facial muscles and helps prevent fine lines caused by continual facial movements. Effective without causing paralysis or loss of muscle control, TMR works to gradually reduce the neurotransmitters that initiate muscle contraction.

TMR contains Argireline® (Acetyl Hexapeptide-3), a non-toxic, anti-aging peptide chemically combined from naturally-derived amino acids. This peptide diminishes the catecholamine release which is required for muscle contractions. With regular use of TMR, facial muscles become relaxed, preventing fine lines induced by frequent facial movements, without loss of natural expression.

TMR - How does it work?

  • TMR targets the same protein as BoNT/A but in a non-destructive way
  • In the body, the SNARE complex is a formation that triggers a muscle contraction
  • Argireline ® (Acetyl Hexapeptide-3) reversibly blocks the SNARE complex, thereby preventing muscle contraction
  • Argireline ® has been shown to have an excellent safety profile

TMR alters the formation of the SNARE complex, thereby reducing the release of excessive chemical signals. This causes the facial muscles to relax, preventing wrinkles caused by facial movement.

TMR also acts on existing wrinkles. Relaxing the facial muscles results in a visible reduction in the depth of wrinkles and fine lines. Argireline® has been shown to reduce the depth of wrinkles an average of 27% within 30 days of treatment.
